分享心得如下:

USE flag 要加上 hal
重新 emerge kdebase-kioslaves
hal, dbus 等會自動merge進來
(如果你不是用 splited ebuilds, 則要重 emerge kdebase)
讓 hald 自動啟動: rc-upadate add hald default

你可以把 fstab 中以前加的 cdrom, usbstick 拿掉
hal 會自動加上它需要的

照著 http://www.gentoo.org.tw/doc/udev-guide.xml 做
然後 reboot

進 kde 後加入 Storage Media 這個 Applet 到 taskbar panel
接著就可以插入隨身碟或光碟片試試
如果插入時會出現一個小圖示，拔出時小圖示會自動消失就成功了

P.S.討論串裡有人說:
1) kde 會和 ivman 衝，我沒遇過到，不過我還是把 ivman 移除了
2) kde 3.5 才會把 konqueror 自動開啟
