A question about ACPI ,please help me~

I can use the ACPI only under the root model ,if I use it as normal users,i will get a error message when enter the Gnome.How can i solve this problem?Thx for helping~~

try to merge acpid.
Then add it as startup services by typing
"rc-update add acpid default".
Start the sevices by using
"/etc/init.d/acpid start"

Then see if other user could use acpi. I hope it will give you some help.

谢谢两位的回复。问题是这样的：我在GNOME的面板上加了电池电量显示，结果在用普通用户身份登陆GNOME的时候有这样的错误消息：无法访问 /var/run/acpid.socket 中的 ACPI 事件！请确定 ACPI 子系统工作正常，且 acpid 守护程序正在运行。
如果是用ROOT用户登陆的话就一切正常。请问怎么解决？

我之前在我的notebook上安裝時也發生過,但是後來我裝了acpid後就解決了.你可以試試.
