規劃完硬碟分割之後，請將相關的分割區掛載起來，接著便是你所說的下載 stage file 了。在 有說明。

像之前說過的，其實用 minimal 跟用 universal 沒什麼差，只是有沒有事先下載一些安裝所需檔案的差別，minimal 要在安裝過程中下載，其他安裝手續則是完全一樣的。所以要用哪個，純粹是個人喜好。

Gentoo 的安裝手冊是編寫的相當完善的，仔細閱讀，一步步跟著作，通常是沒什麼問題。我們也有，若嫌 Gentoo Handbook 太囉唆，也有。

（舉手）請問P2.4G超3.1G該使用stage3-i686 or stage3-pentium4？

cpu 是哪一型就用哪個 stage file，超不超頻與 cpu 指令集無關。

不過主要是不知道該用i686還是pentium4，
P4 2.4G好像兩個都可以，還是這兩個有差別呢？

i686 是 Pentium Pro(含) & AMD Athlon
以上的 cpu 皆可執行.
如指定 cpu type 則僅有同等級以上的 cpu
才可執行.
