gnome-volume-manager的問題

我裝了
gnome-volume-manager
dbus
udev
hald

光碟機可以正常掛載，並在Gnome桌面顯示圖示。
但是USB隨身碟卻只能在一開始啟動gnome-volume-manager
才會正常掛載、產生圖示。
如過把USB隨身碟卸載，再插上，g-v-m就不會再產生圖示了。

但是光碟機卻可以正常運作，退出碟片時圖示消失，
放入碟片時產生圖示。

我懷疑是我的Linux不能正常熱插拔...
可是我看了/var/log/messages
當USB隨身碟接上之後沒有發生錯誤...

請問這個問題要如何解決、設定？
