linux程式設計問題

各位大大你們好，小弟的朋友現在在程式設計上有點小問題
他是在設計嵌入式系統，目前想讀出register的內容
但是苦無function，經過有人指點是說
可以用in()和out()這個function
不曉得他有沒有傳達錯的給我
但是就是找不到有這兩個function可用
請問各位大大上面兩個function是否可用
如果是錯誤的，那我該使用哪個function呢？

you can use inb(), outb(), and many other functions.
And remember to ioperm() to get the permission before use it.

Try man 2 outb to get more information.
