USE ~= useless ?

I want to setup Chinese Gentoo GNU/Linux Desktop, so i have GOT ebuilds synced.


So i emerge xorg-x11-6.8.0-r1.eBuild, where is change to GOT eBuild directory for xor-x11,

Suprisingly i found the weired dependency on xFree!!

I emerge it without further questioning on the unexpected dependency.


Then yet another funny dependency found AGAIN when i want to install Gnome Desktop Environment:

i have put USE ="-qt -kde -QT -KDE ..." for not to install KDE WM first,
However, when i invoke
#emerge gnome -pv
It shows its dependecy on x11-base\kde-... , on qt-3.3.3...
