module.audoload.d和hotplug有什麼不同

module.audoload.d和hotplug有什麼不同

因為我是用genkernel安裝的
照手冊上的方法也裝了hotplug
手冊上提到

現在，為了要讓我們的系統更像 LiveCD，我們需要安裝 hotplug。當 initrd 自動偵測硬體時，hotplug將會自動偵測其他的硬體。

請問hotplug的功用是什麼呢
自動載入該硬體的模組嗎

如果是這樣
那module.autoload不就沒用了
然而我的顯示卡驅動仍要自己載入
所以我真的有點搞混了
還請各位大大指導

BTW，突然沒有印象我的網卡是怎麼設定被驅動的
在安裝過程中好像沒設定過綱卡的型號
可是它現在動的好好的
是hotplug做的嗎

我想應該是這樣的
hotplug是他會開機時自動偵測你的硬體，然後載上需要的module
而 modules.autoload並不會偵測你的硬體，而是你叫他開機時載入什麼modules他就是載入
