有試過安裝其他與 C compiler checking 有關的 portage 嗎?
如果不行，應該就是系統的問題：
1. 請檢查系統是否有 C compiler ： e.g. cc/gcc/g++ etc
2. 請檢查此使用者是否有權限執行這些檔案

如果可以，應該就是 portage 的問題：
1. 請查看該 log 檔的訊息(預設會在 /var/tmp/portage/[app]/work/ 下)
2. 請檢查是否該 ebuild 內容有錯誤
