scside接ide硬碟安裝gentoo的問題

scside接ide硬碟安裝gentoo的問題

請問，我現在用gentoo 1.4 cd開機後，下gentoo doscsi指令，開機
我有scsi(AIC 7890)，scside 卡接一顆ide HD，開機時，載入kernel後，
有看到kmod: fail to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno=2
的訊息，之後有Ramdisk: found ext2 filesystem at block 0
還有一行Ramdisk : Loading 5000 blocks [1 disk] into ramdisk...|
就不動了，請問這樣該怎麼解決？
接回ide是唯一的辦法嗎？
